1 Form Bulletin BridgewaterPiccadillyVictoriaLowryRylandsWhitworth Theme of the Week: EU Referendum. Pupils who missed exams last week due to absence will be collected by staff to do them. There will be no Drama club for the next two weeks; Dance club is not on this week. Referendum: Make your voice be heard. See Mr Shaw to get involved! Eid Show: Taking place on 11 th July, let your tutor know if you wish to take part! Standards: Silence in corridors. Record homework in planner at all times when set and when it is due. Make sure you are underlining and ruling off work. Remember classroom expectations, in particular entering a classroom space in silence. Do not have any items, food or water bottles in your pockets, they will be confiscated. Carry your planner and pencil case on your hand when walking in between lessons. BfL reminders, 3 x BfL 3’s = a warning sticker. Repeat offenders, your tutor will contact home. If you have 5 or more BfL 3’s for No HW, you will attend a Saturday School. Next Saturday School is on 2 nd July. ‘Necking’: Well done on following the no tolerance on ‘necking’. Hitting another pupil is classified as assault, this is in most cases sanctioned with exclusion. Threatening of any kind will be 45 minutes detention. After School: You are reminded that once you leave school premises after school you are not allowed to come back in. Do not loiter around the school area, neighbourhood or nearby shops in large groups. INSET Day: If you wish to take part on July 1 st INSET Day at school to welcome and meet new teachers for next year, you must write a letter to Mr Worthington of around 100 words stating why you should be chosen to attend the day. 2 Pupil Welcome Committee Ms Finlay and Mr Worthington are looking for 6 pupils to welcome 30 new teachers to Dean Trust Ardwick on Friday 1 st July (8.15 to 9.30am). The Welcome Committee will register the new teachers, handout important information and make a short presentation on ‘life as a pupil at Dean Trust Ardwick’. To be considered for this exciting opportunity you must apply to Mr Worthington by writing a short letter (no more than 100 words) explaining: Why you should be chosen for the Pupil Welcome Committee. What would you say in your presentation to the new Dean Trust Ardwick teachers? Letters must be handed in to your Form Tutor by the end of morning registration on Friday 24 th June.
