Pumariega Since 2013, President and Chief Executive Officer of Take Stock in Children (TSiC), a statewide non- profit organization that aims to help at-risk youth break the cycle of poverty by completing college. Prior to TSiC, she was at Miami Dade College for more than two decades where she served in a number of leadership positions, including President of the Wolfson Campus, Dean of Student Services at Wolfson Campus and Dean of Students and Administrative Services at Medical Campus.

Collegiate High School Programs 2015-16 collegiate high school program (CHSP) contracts should be signed and complete The Division of Florida Colleges is reviewing CHSP contracts for compliance Implementation begins fall 2015 2016-17 CHSP contracts (required by January 1, 2016) may be negotiated at the same time districts and colleges are negotiating the 2015-16 dual enrollment articulation agreement

General Education Core Courses All FTIC students will be required to complete the general education core (core) starting fall 2015 Prior dual enrollment students who are admitted to a Florida College System institution as “regularly admitted” degree seeking students are considered FTIC and will be required to complete the core Anticipated technical assistance regarding dual enrollment students who complete the general education requirement or an associate degree prior to FTIC enrollment
