3 Topic/Comment Sentence  Topic/Comment. In a simple topic/comment sentence, the topic is described first then followed by the comment.

5 English to ASL practice  The ASL test is easy.  ASL test, easy  The dog is good, give it a cookie.  Dog good, you-give-it cookie.

6 Examples of topic comment sentence  ASL: You take-up science, me surprised.  E: I am surprised that you are taking science.

7 Practice : from English to ASL  The dog outside is barking.  Ice cream is perfect for summer day.  It is beautiful outside.  The painting on the left is better than that one.  My schedule is hectic!  The girl is crying because she spilled the milk.  Are you ready to start the race?  Can you sweep the floor?
