42 Summary  Unit Weekly Activities  Volume and Workload Allocations  Must be Completed between Wednesday and Friday for the next week  The allocations you make must closely reflect the anticipated workload in order for the model to closely project the daily earned workhours  Post Schedule  The model provides projected earned workhours by day and by LDC. The unit should use the CSAW projections to assist with determining the next week’s clerk/mail handler schedule.  The schedule posted in CSAW should reflect the work hours by day and by LDC that are actually scheduled on the unit’s clerk/mail handler schedule that is posted on the wall for next week.

43 Summary (cont)  Unit Daily Activities  Volume Update  Enter the daily LDC 43 and 44 volumes upon receipt.  Use the earned hour projections by trip to make timely and efficient operational scheduling decisions.  Post Actual Hours – non-EBR sites only  Enter the previous day’s total work hours by LDC and sick leave, overtime, and penalty overtime hours.  Evaluate Workload and Workhour Performance  Use Performance Report data to assist with scheduling to match the current and projected workload and to capture identified staffing opportunities.
