1 1 Chapter 19 Objectives: 1) Differentiate between acids and bases. 2) Explain the following three acid-base theories: Arrhenius, Bronsted-Lowry, Lewis. 3) Be able to name and write formulas for binary and ternary acids. 4) Be able to name and write formulas for hydroxide bases. 5) Differentiate between strong and weak acids and bases (with examples of each). 6) Explain pH.
