2 Orthopedic Orthopedic means :
Derived fromGreek : orthos : correct. paidion: child Orthopaedia is a frnech word :(the Art of Correcting and Preventing Deformities in Children) came in use in 1741  Orthopedic:  is the branch of surgery concerned with conditions involving the musculoskeletal system. Orthopedic surgeons use both surgical and nonsurgical means to treat musculoskeletal trauma, sports injury , degenerative diseases, infections, tumors, and congenital disorders .

It is a condition in which the Mdian nerve is compressed under the Transverse retinacualr ligament of the carpal Tunnel
