3 PLACEREGION Region: A geographic area that has something in common. What region of the country is New Mexico located? What region of the country is Maine located? Place describes physical and human geography Physical geography =What is the land, climate, plant and animal life like in this place? human geography= How are the people, what language do they speak. what is their culture at this place?
