What Is Needed in 2007

If God is Going to Use Us, We Need to Have a Prepared Heart

If our hearts are not properly prepared, we will not believe that God’s will is “good, and acceptable, and perfect.”

If our hearts are not properly prepared, we enter the Christian life with a careless attitude.

If my heart is to be properly prepared, I must present my whole self as “a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto God.”

Many Christians have decided that giving God everything, costs too much.

Every time God presents us with a challenge, we should not be looking for ways to get out of it.

If a Christian has been properly prepared right from the start, there will be no hazy indecision when God calls on us.

If my heart is to be properly prepared, I must consider the “mercies of God” towards me.

When Christians realizes how good God has been to them, it produces a feeling of gratitude.

When that feeling of gratitude takes hold of a Christian, it makes him or her realize that words are not enough.

Being grateful towards God causes you to give Him your time, talents, and treasures.

If my heart is to be properly prepared, I must realize that presenting my whole self is my “reasonable service.”

This needs to be concrete decision, to completely dedicate ourselves to God, then we can move forward with a prepared heart.

When we present our bodies a living sacrifice, we go forward with a prepared heart, in a position of permanent availability.

If God is Going to Use Us, We Need to Have a Faithful Spirit

Every Christian has there own personal responsibility towards God.

God’s salvation is not merely the forgiveness of sins, but also the restoration of a life.

The ultimate aim of the Gospel – “that ye might have life through his name.” John 20:30-31

The ultimate purpose of our salvation is not that we should escape judgment, but that we might live for His pleasure and to His glory.

The Lord seeks and desires to use the temple He dwells in.

So much weak and feeble Christian living comes from a negative appreciation of the work of Christ.

Looking Into the Mirror The purpose of these lessons is to take heed to the warnings given by God.
