The Problem The Problem If you have a little metal cup that holds: pens, pencils, sharpies, ect. then you know that you never can tell how many pens you can put into that little metal cup. So, that’s why I created the Pencil Dispenser. 4 Solution I Chose Solution I Chose I chose the Pencil Dispenser because it was safe and easy to make, it was attractive, it doesn’t cost very much to make, and it can be created in no time. I chose the Pencil Dispenser because it was safe and easy to make, it was attractive, it doesn’t cost very much to make, and it can be created in no time.

Designing of the Pencil Dispenser  Materials needed for The Pencil Dispenser are: cardboard, rubber band, hot glue, command strips, and of course pencils.  I made The Pencil Dispenser by cut apart a cardboard box and folded it together. Then I cut off the extra flaps that I didn’t need.  I took a rubber band and hot glued it to one side and then took it under the flap and stretched it out to the other side.

Testing The Pencil Dispenser I asked 4 friends a few questions about my invention. I wanted them to evaluate my product based on these criteria:  Does the invention work?  Is it easy to make?  Would it take long to finish?

Criteria Criteria Jacob H. BrandonCollinKatelyn would it take long to finish Nononono Is it easy to make? Yes Sort of yesmaybe Does the invention work? Yesyesyesyes

What Could I do to Improve my Invention  When I first built it the invention wasn’t wide enough. It was only 3 inches. So, I increased the size of the invention to 6 inches.

Steps to make my invention  First, take some cardboard and tinker with it until it is in the shape of a rectangle 3 inches hollow in the middle and inches wide. You need it wide so you can put different sizes of pencils.

Why People Should buy it  I think people should buy it because, it keeps everything nice and neat. I also think people should buy it is because it’s just a great invention.
