1 Student Employment Information Created by Stephanie Winsock

2 Accessing Student Employment Log onto myMU, select the Students link, and select Student Employment.

3 To view job postings select the Student Jobs.

4 Academic and Summer Home Job Links Academic and Summer job postings are located on separate pages. Select “Academic Home” or “Summer Home”. Select “Apply Now”. Complete the application and then click the “Apply” box at the bottom of the application. Supervisors receive an email notification when a student submits an application.

5 Application Management View To view, accept, or deny a job offer, go to the student jobs site and select the “My Applications” link. This will take you to the “My Applications” page. Select “A job offer has been sent to the applicant” in the “Status” column and choose accept or decline.

6 EMPLOYMENT FORMS Employment forms are located on the Student Employment page of myMU.

7 STUDENT REPONSIBILITIES Log in to myMU Select Student tab, and select Student Employment Click on Student Jobs Complete application Click the APPLY Button to submit the application IF YOU ARE SELECTED FOR AN INTERVIEW the supervisor will contact you directly. IF YOU ARE HIRED FOR THE POSITION you will receive an offer via email with directions on how to accept or decline the position. IF YOU ARE NOT SELECTED FOR THE POSITION you will be notified by email. JOB OFFERS TO STUDENTS WHO HAVE WORKED FOR THE UNIVERSITY After accepting a job offer you must meet with Stephanie Winsock from the Student Employment Office to complete necessary employment documents. Her office is located within the Insalaco Center for Career Development on the 1 st floor of McAuley Hall room #10. TO VIEW THE LIST OF EMPLOYMENT FORMS FOR NEW HIRES PLEASE GO TO THE STUDENT EMPLOYMENT SITE ON myMU. RETURNING MISERICORDIA STUDENT WORKERS Only need to complete employment forms (new hire paperwork) if previously provided information has changed. TO VIEW THE LIST OF EMPLOYMENT FORMS FOR NEW HIRES PLEASE GO TO THE STUDENT EMPOLYMENT SITE ON myMU. YOU CANNOT START WORKING UNTIL THE EMPLOYMENT DOCUMENTS ARE COMPLETED Please note if a federal work study award appears on your award letter it is simply an indication that you meet the financial criteria for participation in the program. IT IS NOT A GUARANTEE OF A JOB.
