3 General impression of survey Does the survey “feel” right? Does the survey “look” right? Is it easy to “take”? Survey Introduction Does the introduction set the right tone? Does it convey the background needed to understand and respond to the questions?

4 Review of Survey Questions Q1: Please consider the needs of your local learning community and describe the additional learning opportunity that you would like the Cross-Network Learning Community to offer. Provide as much specific information as possible about the content you need to supplement your professional development activities. 1.Wording of question? 2.Additional information:  Format options?  Participant level  Audience  Other information that should be collected? 3.How many repeats?

5 Review of Survey Questions Q2: It will be helpful to know more about the types of formats for cross-Network learning opportunities that will support your local Learning Community.  What types of formats would best serve your students? Please provide any specific information that will help us understand how the formats you identify will assist in developing your local learning community. (check all that apply)  Would students and/or faculty at your institution be interested in traveling to a face-to-face event? If so, comment on possible focus, frequency, format, and audience.  What balance of extended series (semester or year-long series) or single events would best serve your students?  What balance of face to face, online synchronous and asynchronous would best serve your students?

6 Review of Survey Questions Q3: The CIRTL Network website currently provides access to a wealth of resources, such as the diversity materials, to support your local Learning Community.  What other topics and materials (description of programs offered on campus, syllabi for on-campus courses, recognition procedures, etc.) would you like to see added to the website from other members of the cross-Network Learning Community that would assist you in the development of your local Learning Community?

7 Review of Survey Questions Q4: Is there anything else you would like to share about how the cross-Network Learning Community can assist your institution in preparing future faculty in the STEM disciplines? Q5: Institution  Should this be a required response?
