2  WE WILL EXAMINE FACTORS IMPACTING THE CHOICE OF A TRADITIONAL CLASSROOM OR ON-LINE LEARNING EXPERIENCE IN A PROFESSIONAL SCHOOL SETTING.  ARE THESE FACTORS THE SAME AS OR DIFFERENT FROM THOSE THAT HAVE GENERALLY BEEN REPORTED? 2Discussion-BABTechDay2012

17  I really prefer the traditional F2F class and would not take an on line class if I did not have to--- 57.2%  The classes I want are not always available in Adobe Connect---- 37.6%  Adobe Connect allows me to know the instructors but I never feel I truly get to know the others students in the class- 22.4%  Some teachers just don’t know how to use on line technology very effectively- 22.4% 17Discussion-BABTechDay2012

18  I like meeting other professionals in the industry F2F and feel the networking in a Temple classroom works better than on line- 71.2%  I find its easier to focus on school work when I’m in a classroom- 57%  Certain classes are only available in a F2F format- 27.1%  There are too many distractions at home or the office- 25.4% 18Discussion-BABTechDay2012

34  Faculty Learning Circle- As a faculty development model (they) are effective because they bring together a community of scholars from different disciplines to share ideas and challenges and to produce a product to support great teaching practice at the university.
