7 E-theses @UCC From January 2013 All PhD students will be expected to submit an e-thesis in parallel with hard bound thesis Online submission via CORA – Register – Complete metadata & upload file(s) – Agree to deposit licence – Submit to workflow i.e. supervisor Hardcopy submission to Graduate Studies Office

10 Any reservations? – Future publication – Commercialisation potential – Confidentiality / Sensitivity Immediate archiving, delay open access – Request an embargo – Restrict access to full text for 1/3/5 years Also possible to opt-out – Complete form with supervisor and submit to GSO
