4 Punctuation That is NOT Ignored Apostrophe (’): peoples, people’s and peoples’ are searched as different words Accent marks in foreign languages: elephant does not match éléphant Hyphen (-): off-campus retrieves off-campus, off campus, and offcampus Always supply the (-) to search any word that might be hyphenated
