Clemente was the first hispanic to win the world series as a starter. Clemente received an enourmous amount of awards in his career. For example he won 12 gold glove awards, he won the NL batting title 4 times, he won 2 world series, we won NL MVP, and World series MVP.

3. Biography At the end of Clementes 1972 season he had 3,000 hits in his career. Then on December 31, 1972 he died en an aviation accident, and this ended his career.

4. Achievement 1 After playing for the Pittsburgh Pirates for 17 years Clemente career was tragically end by a plane crash.
