I received my Associate Degree in 1994 and went on to work towards my Bachelor’s degree but came across a couple of stumbling blocks and had to leave school, and it wasn’t until 2012 and the Head Start program that I work had require that Lead teachers have a Bachelor’s degree. it was then that I returned to school to receive my Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education here at Ashford which I received in April of 2015 and I figure why stop there so I am continuing on to receive my Master’s of arts in Child Development.

5 Who was your favorite K – 12 teacher and why? Who was your least favorite and why? favorite K – 12 teacher and why My favorite teacher was my seventh grade math teacher named Mr. Irving he was a short heavy set bald Caucasian guy who had the children’s best interest at heart, he would always teach his students that you could be anything you wanted to be with hard work and perseverance. He would sometimes stay after school or come on Saturday to help the students with any type of homework that they had, and an added bonus he would take us on a trip which would be a ride on his boat. least teacher favorite and why My least favorite teacher was my second grade teacher named Ms. Arteisea who was a little old lady who always make us feel bad and she would pull the children by the ear every time she would be mad at them or they would do something wrong

6 How and when you chose to earn a master’s degree in your chosen program. What made you passionate about this career choice? earn a master’s degree in your chosen program I would plan to achieve my Master’s degree in September 2016 by hard work and dedication. What made you passionate about this career choice Growing up I always wanted to be a teacher in the k-third grades until I realize that the most important years are the first ones and that if I could teach them at a young age that I could instill values in them that would go with them throughout their lives

7 If you could only eat one food, for the rest of your life (at dinner time) what would it be? If I could only eat one food, for the rest of my life at dinner time it would have to be chicken not only is there many ways to prepare chicken noodle soup, baked chicken, fried chicken broiled chicken and it; is my favorite food.
