1st Step: Prepare  The trouble is that most planning is done without concious thinking, as if we are on autopilot  The key to success however, is to make sure that planning is systematic  The best way to plan systematic is to use goal-setting strategies

2nd Step: Organize Intellectual Tools:  Too often students are in a hurry to meet a deadline! They just dive in and get it done!  Organizing can save you time, as you are not loosing your way  Success comes not from trial and error  We can often make our own luck through preparing and organizing

3rd Step: Work  Motivate your self: Find the energy Decide to focus your energy on the work Focus your attension on the work Start with an overview Go to details and solve the tasks

4th Step: Evaluate ”Great, I am done with the work. Now I can move on!”  Did Shakespeare quickly write the first draft of Hamlet and without another glance, send it to the Globe Theater for production?  Do professional sportsmen just put in a minimum of practice to get ready for a big game?

5th Step: Rethink  Evaluating means considering how well your result matches your initial goals  Rethinking means re-considering not just the outcome of your efforts, but the ideas and the process underlying your efforts to solve the tasks.

Evaluating your Team Work  Gather in your teams and fill in the evaluation form:  The steps of POWER learning  The Agreement on Cooperation  The roles in the project  The proces of cooperation

Rethinking  How can your team act in a better way next time?  Improving POWER Learning?  Improving your Agreement?  Respecting the roles?  Improving the processes of working?

Handing in your Evaluation and Rethinking  When each team has finished the evaluation and rethinking proces:  Hand in a copy of your results to me!  Your evaluation will be handed over to you supervisor in project A
