1. Civil works component is one of the important interventions of SSA. It helps in bridging the infrastructural gaps and acts as a visible intervention to the stakeholders. Though, the State Government and local body take adequate steps to provide necessary infrastructure support with quality School Building. SSA also plays its part in rising to the occasion. Construction of School Building, Additional classrooms and Toilets are taken up under SSA as other areas of infrastructure like provision of drinking water facility, compound wall, development of play ground, repair of existing building etc. are being taken up by the State Government and respective local bodies. Environmental Assessment of Schools as on 30.09.2015 Report from all schools have received and they are in the process of compilation and analysis and report will be submitted during next quarter 2015-16 All schools are being covered. The MCPS essentially consist of site area, built up area, Ground coverage, play ground, Garden and park area, Rain water Harvesting, Drinking Water outlets etc. also mentioning the type of structure and portion to be demolished for new construction etc. Status of School layout / Campus Plan as on 30.09.2015 Asset Register is maintained in all schools. 12. Behavioral Change activities, On Sanitation & Hygiene In School Swachhta Campaign A behavioral change in pupil regarding healthy sanitation practice. behavioral change sanitation Self cleanliness: cleaning of clothes, nails, teeth, hair, hand-wash before and after taking meals.

Surroundings:Cleanliness of school 1.Cleaning of playground 2.Cleaning and maintenance of school garden 3.Theme based story writing and poetry on sanitation & hygiene. 4.Painting competition, consist of cleanliness and hygiene. 5.Constitution of children ’ s cabinet to monitor the cleanliness drive.

14. Creating awareness in the morning prayer assembly at school and prize may be given to the best performers. For creating awareness of behavioral change, workshop is going to be organized at cluster level and through children’s cabinet constituted.

15. Habits developed at early stage would go way to make the family, society and nation at large to change the temperament and behaviour. Workshops are going to be organized at cluster level from October onwards and 20400 children will be trained on behavioral change (150 children in One Workshop) The following activities will be organized in the workshop  slogan writing  poster making competition  poem recitation  small skit/Nukkad Natak on cleanliness District Phy. 16.  Rs. 1000/- will be given to one school for organizing to deliver speech in the morning assembly on cleanliness by the children and to constitute children cabinet on cleanliness of minimum 10 students in 2836 schools.  The HoS of the school will make sure that every month prizes will be given to the best student talking on cleanliness so that other children may be encouraged to participate and give their views.  This activity will make the children free & bold and they will participate in the school programme.  Booklet will be printed on Best Practices and Best Achiever on Swachh Bharat Abhiyan as well as on behavioral changes and success stories from the children
