4 Camp Card Facts It is simple--$5.00 sale –50% to Scout; 50% to the Council Money raised can be used to go to Camp –Day Camp, BS Summer Camp, Cub/Webelos Resident Camp, Brown Sea or –Jamboree, other Council Programs Discounts are good until 12/31/15 In hand sale—no product to order Supports the Scouting Mission Did I mention…it is simple as 1, 2, 3 4

14 Camp Card Steps for Success 1. Attend Kick-off/Training & Set Unit Goal with purpose of proceeds 2. Complete unit commitment form –Remember unsold can not be returned 3. Unit Sales Plan—communicate to scouts/parents and leaders 4. Sale Begins March 4th and money needs to be turned into Council on May 18th –Units responsible for handing Scouts % of sales—50% due to Council—the other 50% goes to Scout 14

16 We are not just selling cards… we are providing opportunity for our Scouts Scouting changes lives. We are selling more than a discount card—we are selling character, a better community and we are selling the benefits of the Scouting Program. Emphasize that each card sold helps a Scout go to camp to take part in a “life changing adventure”. The Camp Card Program will be successful because people want to support Scouting Mission and people want to help today’s youth. 16
