2. The first time you log into Portal after claiming your login credentials, you will be presented the above screen. This will only happen once. Simply acknowledge the screen by checking the box #1. 3.  This presentation will cover the Icons found in the left pane of Portal.  Any detailed explanation of right pane functions and activities will be covered in separate presentations and noted in this presentation.  (Click for arrow) indicates a mouse click is necessary to bring up additional graphics. 4. Starting at the top left you will see your name, the office and the Chapter/Colony you are logged into (click for arrow). If you hold multiple offices you may switch between offices on the right or you may log out. (click for arrow). The column of icons on the left of the screen (click for arrow) are static and may be selected from any screen. The pane on the right (click for arrow). will change depending on the icon selection in the column on the left. 5. The calendar is your home screen. It will display anything the chapter/colony chooses to add to it. Fraternity Headquarters may also add items to this calendar. However with the proliferation of calendars available, it has not been used consistently by undergraduates or Headquarters. Alpha Sigma Phi alphasigmaphi.org

6. When you select the FORMS icon, (click for arrow). you will see a listing for an Alumni Association Annual Report. (click for arrow) This will become a new requirement for yearly recognition status starting in the 2016-17 academic year. In 2015-16 it will only serve as a practice report. The president will be responsible for completing this report which will be due on April 15 each year. (click for arrow). Additionally on this screen, when a request for use of Chapter Endowment funds is requested by the undergraduate chapter, the President of the Alumni Association will need to approve the request. When the president logs in to his home screen, he should see a yellow banner across the top advising him he has a document waiting his approval. The president clicks on FORMS (click for arrow), then clicks on My Approval Needed (click for arrow). He simply follows the prompts from there for approval. Alpha Sigma Phi alphasigmaphi.org

7. On this page you will see a complete list of all Chapter/Colony Officer positions, including the Affiliate Groups. They are arranged as follows: Undergraduate Chapter, Chapter Council, Alumni Association, and House Corporation. If you scroll two thirds of the way down the list, you will find the Alumni Association Officers listing, followed by the House Corporation Officers. Those open positions needing an officer will be in red print. Your goal is to have all Alumni Association Officers’ positions filled. It is the responsibility of the Alumni Association and House Corporation presidents to keep their respective rosters up to date.
