2. Paul clearly sees the value of women in ministry and the home: “I commend to you our sister Phoebe, who is a servant of the church in Cenchrea. I ask you to receive her in he Lord in a way worthy of the saints and to give her any help she may need from you, for she has been a great help to many people, including me” -Romans 16:1,2

3. Each of our places is in the home Having a relationship with God is what it means to be a Christian. Having a relationship with other people is what it means to be fully human Husbands and children are to treat Mom, the woman of the home with the utmost respect. (Proverbs 31:28,29)

4. I. A WOMAN’S PLACE IS IN THE HOME (Contd.) Home is where ministry is.  We minister to each other, to our children, their friends & enemies, by being an example and word..  We bind emotional wounds. We lift their sagging spirits. We give smiles, and hugs  As women our place is in many places but our most influential, most important place is home!

5. Although she is in the world the world does not stop her from being all she can be with God! She loves, fears (reveres, respects) the Lord! Proverbs: 31:30,31 In Canada women are given places of dignity but not so in many countries still today.

6. REAL WOMEN DON’T HAVE HOT FLASHES… THEY HAVE POWER SURGES Let’s put those power surges to work.

7. Women have always been actively involved as part of the church.  Last ones at the cross, first ones at the tomb

8.  Many women were in the Upper Room when the Holy Spirit fell on the believers (Acts 1:14)

9. He quotes Joel, a prophet of the Old Testament (Joel 2:28); “In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams, Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy” -Acts 2: 16-18

11. “There is neither Jew or Greek, slave or free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, And heirs according to the promise” Galatians 3:28,29

12.  Colossians 3:17 “And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it ALL IN THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”
