3  August 17, 2010, the City Council accepted the recommendations of the DTIP.  Purpose of the DTIP  Increase economic development in Downtown Denton  Catalyst to achieve the goals that define the vision for the Downtown Master Plan  Identify investment strategies for short and long term goals in anticipation of the Downtown Denton Transit Center  Address issues raised by the Downtown business community Background
