Canopy® 400 Series AP and SM CAP 54400 and CSM 54400 Extend Video, Voice and Data Services into nLOS and NLOS Environments

Reach New Locations Extend Networks into Areas with Foliage NLOS/nLOS Video Surveillance in metro areas High Throughput Enterprise Applications Extend Networks into Urban Areas

Network Operator Benefits Enterprise Network Operators Quickly build outdoor private network to connect “islands of coverage” Municipal Network Operators Quickly extend video surveillance coverage areas Wireline Service Providers Rapidly extend network into “DSL Red” areas Wireless Service Providers Rapidly extend network into urban areas with foliage and obstructions Deliver Video, Voice and Data Connectivity to New Locations

Canopy 400 Series Advantages FeatureBenefit nLOS and NLOS coverage Expand broadband coverage into areas where foliage or obstructions limited wireless broadband deployment Increased Throughput21 Mbps of Total Aggregate throughput provides more capacity for video, voice and data applications Longer RangeLOS range 5 miles and beyond provides greater coverage from AP location, reducing the number of towers required GPS SynchronizationReduction in self interference enables the network to scale from small to large deployments. Simple InstallationAccess Points and Subscriber Modules can be deployed in hours, reducing the cost and delay of service Higher Performance with Canopy Reliability

Co-location with Existing Canopy Networks Canopy 400 Series products can co-exist with existing 5 GHz Canopy Networks GPS synchronization is essential to co-location and overlaying OFDM-based Canopy with traditional Canopy Co-locating 5.4 GHz 400 Series with Canopy (5.7 or 5.4) requires careful channel planning (recommend 5MHz guard band and 3 ft. vertical separation between OFDM and FSK channels; no guard band required between adjacent OFDM channels) Each environment is unique so co-location will require field experience to understand limitations Detailed co-location guidelines will be published in a Deployment Guide published on the Canopy web site.
