1. USING WORLD eBOOKS APP ON AN iPAD

2. STEP 1: Download the free World eBook app from the Apple App Store.

3. STEP 2: Tick  “Remember ID & Password. Tap on the World eBooks app and login to your My Bookshelf account.

4. STEP 3: Double-tap the Home button to bring up the app switcher. Swipe up the screen to close the WB eBooks app. This will help to sync your books to the app.

5. In your web browser go to: www.worldbookonline.com www.worldbookonline.com Enter your school or library’s login details STEP 4:

6. Tap on the eBook icon STEP 5:

7. Once the eBook platform opens, note the login field in the top right-hand corner. Enter you username and password. Tap ‘Log in’. STEP 6:

8. Once you have entered in your details correctly a customised “Welcome” message will appear in the top right hand corner indicating you have successfully logged in. STEP 7:

9. The My Bookshelf link under “Welcome” takes you to books you have opened and downloaded. Click Sign Out to log out of your My Bookshelf account. STEP 8:

10. STEP 9: Let’s download a book to your WB eBooks app so you can read it without being connected to the internet (offline reading). Tap on the book who want to download to your app. Tap on ‘Download’ button.

11. The book has started to download.

12. You are now taken to the WB eBooks app

13. Syncing is important because it tells the app what book you want to download.

14. This screen will help you use the app. Tap anywhere on the screen to close.

15. The book is now in your app. The blue line shows you the download progress.

16. Tap here to return to your bookshelf. The book opens in your app when it has finished downloading.

17. This book now appears in the ‘On Device’ tab and is now downloaded for offline reading.

18. In eBook browser, every time you want to edit any eBooks, remember to login to your My Bookshelf account for these to be saved. A message will appear each time to remind you. Books you open in the eBook browser but aren’t downloaded will also appear in your app in the ‘All’ tab.

19. Make sure your app has synced correctly when you want to download a new title. If your app doesn’t sync and you are connected to the internet, try swiping the app closed and open again. Your My Bookshelf account details are what you use to login to the App. Remember these details.
