 This is nothing new and it is not your first year in school we are just continuing on from where you left off in elementary school. Basic Rules For Mr. Michalski’s Class

Be prepared for class daily :pencil, binder, homework, rested, participate, good attitude

Listen to whoever has permission to be speaking at the time teacher or student.

If you have a question after instructions or during discussions ask in the correct way. REMEMBER: Have you tried to figure it out first? You are probably not the only person who does not understand.

We have much to cover in 180 days and a good use of time is extremely important. Time flies when you’re having fun so no clock watching and participate.

Missing work hurts your grade. (average in a zero). Put your best effort into it in the classroom or at home and TURN IT IN.

With a 110 students how will I know it is yours?????

Yes I am certain you did. Check your teachers websites, talk to a friend from class and When you get back to school see all your teachers before class starts or during STAR time.

You should expect homework when it is needed, but it will not be everyday. I cannot promise which days it will be on. Reading, reviewing and studying even though it is not written out, it is still homework. It will be obvious who has done it and who did not.

Listen to your teacher and classmates questions. We have too many things to accomplish to be repeating everything 5 times.

I don’t mind helping out and answering questions but you have to help yourselves as well and I can not be in three places at once. Also, I will help but won’t give you the answer.

Try to go between classes. Let your teacher know if you may be a little late. In an EMERGENCY you can certainly go. Have permission, sign out and don’t make it a habit. Emergencies don’t happen daily.

I probably can’t compete with your friends, video games, sports teams etc. when it comes to what is interesting to you. It is safe to say you will like some things in class more than others. However it is all important and worth doing to the best of your ability. *** Your Best Is What I Expect Whether It Is Passing, a “C” Or An “A”. *** KEYS TO SUCCESS: No missing tasks, Good time management, Organized
