3.  Drawing with colored pencils is similar to drawing with regular graphite pencils. You are adding the element of color but many of the techniques are the same.  A finished drawing has many layers of colors.

4. Use a variety of lines Vary the thickness Change the pressure of the pencil to change the value

6. Start your drawing by blocking in your shapes. Make sure your shapes are accurate before you start using the colored pencils. Start with your lightest values and work towards the darker tones.
