Does the use of baby wipes affect the amount of microorganisms found on hands?

Microorganisms in our experiment We found three types of micro organisms: Pink Yeast Colonies Staphylococcus aureus Green Mold

Effect of Staphylococcus Aureus Cause of skin and soft tissue infections Abscesses (boils) Furuncles Cellulites

Effect of Green Mold Studies have shown that People who have touched or inhaled mold or mold spores may present the following symptoms: Allergic reactions such: Runny nose, Sneezing Nasal congestion Watery eyes Skin rash and itching (dermatitis).

Staphylococcus Vs. Green Mold Staphylococcus is the most dangerous microorganism found in our experiment, comparing it to pink yeast colonies and green mold. Staphylococcus It is not harmful if it’s just in the surface Problems start ones you are infected. ( meaning ones the virus is inside of your organism) You have to go to a doctor as soon as symptoms or change in skin appearance occur. Can be life threatening if not treated in time. Green Mold You may present symptoms but they are more like allergies Your body is able to combat the symptoms alone You can take allergy medicines to make symptoms clear away faster.

Through investigating we discovered that baby wipes do not clean bacteria off at all. Hand wipes only remove the staphylococcus but not the green mold and pink yeast colonies. CONCLUSION

Parents, remember to always carry baby wipes when taking your children to public places. Especially to places were people often use their hands. Carrying baby wipes prevents you from very harmful and life threatening diseases.
