2. Click on Start All ProgramsApollo Medical SystemsRun QOF Wizard The introductory screen will appear Click to start the wizard This will start ‘flashing’ pink, while it produces the list of reports. Please be patient; it can take a few minutes for the software to initialise.

3. After a few minutes, the list of reports will be shown here If you’ve previously run the reports, the run date(s) will be listed here… … and an Excel icon will be shown here. We’ve included links to useful web sites – simply click to be taken there. PLEASE NOTE! The preliminary report will show a run date, but it won’t produce an Excel sheet. It must be run BEFORE any of the other reports, as it initialises the system and gathers the information it needs to run the reports from your clinical system.

4. You can run just one report, e.g. Blood Pressure, or you can run them all. We’ll assume you’ve already run the Preliminary Report. Now click on ‘Run Selected Report’. Click on the name of the report, Blood Pressure, to select it as shown. Click on ‘Run All Reports’ if you wish to run them all, including the preliminary report. NB: This can take some time, e.g. more than two hours, so please be patient!

5. The dialogue box will appear for whichever report(s) you are running. Please read the on- screen prompts carefully… Click ‘Next’ to continue… …or ‘Stop’ if you change your mind. The report will start to run. A progress bar shows you how far through the run process you are. Please be patient; this can take some time! Once the report is finished, you can click on ‘Exit’ to return to the list of reports and view the output.

6. Each time you run a report, it will produce an Excel spreadsheet of the output. Here is a section of one of the sheets. Each report in the list that has an Excel icon next to it will have its own Excel sheet. You can view the spreadsheets in one of the two following ways… The patient ID is encrypted to preserve anonymity. You can click on the name of any report, then select ‘View Spreadsheet’ to do just that… …or you can just opt to view the Excel files in their folder. The completed Excel spreadsheets, saved into the default folder. NB: The ‘Get A Record’ report can only be run manually and needs a different method. Separate instructions are available for this one.
