PALESTINE

 Palestine was under British rule from 1920-1948  On November 29, 1947 the United Nations adopted Resolution 181 (also known as the Partition Resolution) that would divide Great Britain’s former Palestinian mandate into Jewish and Arab states in May 1948 when the British mandate was scheduled to end.  In 1948 Israel was created into an official ‘country’  Before Israel was acknowledged, it was a small piece of Palestine that was taken over by Zionists. (Zionists are radical Jews)  Israel grew bigger due to world war 2, where at the end of the war the European Jews were able to settle into Israel  Every since then Israel has continued to grow and take over Palestine, a land that was given out of pity, and have had on and off wars since the creation  The most recent war sparked global attention in the summer of 2014

Between 8 July and 27 August, more than 2,100 Palestinians were killed in the Gaza Strip, along with 66 Israeli soldiers and seven civilians in Israel. The UN says the vast majority of Palestinian deaths are civilian.

One in three refugees world wide is Palestinian. There are about 6.5 million Palestinian refugees worldwide. More than 3.8 million Palestinian refugees and their descendents displaced in 1948 are registered for humanitarian assistance with the United Nations.

 Gazans are struggling to stay warm due to the worsening power shortages, in order too survive they must build fires to keep warm and to cook  Sources are very limited because of Israeli sanctions  Even if you tried to flee the country you wouldn’t be able to because of how heavily armed both land and sea are  With limited resources it would take Gaza (not even the West Bank) 100 years to rebuild, this is assuming no up coming war will happen  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pO- 26YmoXGA&list=PLZd3QRtSy5LNqTTQagN3IgbqVPtEIQOp1&index=48 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pO- 26YmoXGA&list=PLZd3QRtSy5LNqTTQagN3IgbqVPtEIQOp1&index=48  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1RyySeGhwYs&list=PLZd3QRtSy5LNqTTQagN 3IgbqVPtEIQOp1&index=50 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1RyySeGhwYs&list=PLZd3QRtSy5LNqTTQagN 3IgbqVPtEIQOp1&index=50

CHILDREN OF PALESTINE  In the armed conflict between Israel and Palestine, many fatalities have been reported among Palestinian children, innocent victims often killed by mistake but sometimes callously shot by Israeli soldiers for no reason. The attacks often target public places that have turned into refuges for civilians, like schools, hospitals, etc. In addition to the lost lives, tens of thousands of children are injured and some are left disabled for life  In Gaza – the most impoverished area – one in two adolescents has the chance to work  Access to education is difficult for children who live in refugee camps and villages that do not have a school. Children must go through at least one check point a day, even if they get to school, not many have a teacher because of low the job is  In Palestine, the infant mortality rate is seven times higher than that of Israel. Indeed, 30% of Palestinian children die before the age of five. The causes of this high infant mortality rate are varied: anemia, nutritional deficiencies or even severe malnutrition

Realistically: No My opinion: Yes Religiously: In Islam, one of the signs of the end of days is that there will be great war between the Jews and the Muslims (Palestine and Israel). So maybe, depending on your religious views.

Will anyone save Palestine?
