Sewa Bharti is one of the largest non-governmental organization(NGOs) working for the upliftment and empowerment of the neglected and under- privileged sections of the society; Particularly it ensures empowerment of communities, help in securing sustainable livelihoods, promotion of micro- finance, promotion of societal peace, providing alternative energy option, community based calamity preparedness, promotion of people’s culture, Research and Documentation since its inception in 1979 at Delhi.

3. Computer Literacy Project Beauty & Mehandi Centers Stitching and Tailoring To educate youngsters of Sewa Bharti/ slums, 28 computer centers are being operative which train young boys & girls in Computer Basic, D.T.P, Web Designing, Tally Diploma & C,C++ etc. MNC’S give readily employment to these youngsters. To ensure self sufficiency among young girls, 20 Centres are providing training in Beautician course Mehandi application is also being imparted in Beauty training centres. Sewa Bharti provides expert Training in the field of sewing and stitching, It has been successfully maintaining 175 Stitching centres, across entire Delhi region and has given training to more than 5000 girls and women. 250 Volunteers are involved in Imparting training to these Women.
