They loved each other very much but for some reason he could not go with her; time and distance, however, did not seem to lesson her husband’s missing and loving her. They had a long time friend, who was a violin teacher and musician. Mr. Lee knew his friend’s circumstances very well. He didn’t like to see his friend so unhappy in the thoughts of missing his family, so he composed a song and took photos for them. Every scene was supposed to make Carolyn homesick enough to fly to her husband. Here are the song lyrics in the MV, “Love Lies in Taking Each Other to Heart.”

17. 5. To connect ideas in different clauses more clearly The speaker was being played too loud by the lecturer, who was finally asked to turn it down. In this sentence, the clause “who was finally asked to turn it down” near the main clause makes the sentence’s meaning clearer.
