History of teaching the Process and Project management at EUBA PROCESS MANAGEMENT Permanently taught for 2 nd year undergraduates throughout the University of Economics and the obligatory subject for doctoral students at the Faculty of Business Management PROJECT MANAGEMENT Middle of 1990s – accreditation of the Project management as an optional course From 2000s – permanent increasing interest of undergraduates and students in PM courses From 2004s – teaching PM for MBA students at the Institute for continuing education, EUBA School year 2005- 2006 – pilot project ESF - the PM course developed in English

7 3. Who is taught? Process Management  The subject titled MANAGEMENT permanently taught for 2 nd year undergraduates throughout the University of Economics and the obligatory subject for doctoral students at the Faculty of Business Administration; English version is offered to Erasmus students and foreign doctoral students Project Management  Basic information about PM at MANAGEMENT subject in 2 nd year of study (Bacalar degree)  Project planning is offered as a separate lecture to students in 3 rd year of study within the subject Corporate planning (Bacalar degree)  Specific obligatory optional subject Project Management in 4 th year of study optionally in Slovak or English (Master degree)  MBA and doctoral students  Long life learning students

How is the PM taught?  Basic PM information at MANAGEMENT subject in 2 nd year of study; PM structures (Bc degree)  Project planning coming from strategic approach is offered as separate lecture in 3 rd year of study within the subject Corporate planning (Bc degree)  Subject the Project Management in 4 th year of study 13/13 hours lecture/seminar per semester; individual project; examination (Master degree); supported with text book in Slovak language (from 2000, 2002, 2008 – in press)  MBA 12 hours; short project; examination  Long life learning students – individual, a practical approach (in most according to terms of contract)  Special International Management Masters Programme in English – Project management course, comprehensive ppt support (13/13 hours lecture/seminar per semester)
