1 A project that was created by Mrs. Graber’s PM class. Math Night

2 Math Night Project: This project was created to inform students about the upcoming Math Night and to encourage attendance of the event by showing the fun things that will happen. Students had to decide how they wanted to let people know. They were given a choice of making a video, creating posters, or notes to go home. Of course they all wanted to make a video. Students were then asked to make a list of the events that would happen at Math Night so they could make sure they didn’t forget anything in the video.

3 Math Night Project: Next the students (with teacher help) had to write out what they wanted to say, and the order they wanted to say it. A flow map was made to help sequence the events.

4 Math Night Project: Next, the students had to audition for the speaking parts. They practiced and had trial runs and we voted who did the best. The last thing the students did was video the sequence of events from the flow map. Once the videos were complete they were inserted into I Movie. Once the video was complete the students were allowed to have their video played during the daily announcements to inform students of the Math Night Event.
