1. What does Kosher mean?  Kosher does not just refer to food! …….. The word KOSHER means that the laws of the Torah were followed….Really anything that follows Jewish religious laws could be considered Kosher. For instance a hamburger made from beef prepared in the proper way is Kosher. 6. Some Kosher Laws in the Bible  Of the "beasts of the earth" you may eat any animal that has cloven hooves and chews its cud. Lev. 11:3; Deut. 14:6.
