7 Promotion To promote, an 8th grade student must have:  Earned 100 credits by 8 th grade  No more than 4 “U’s” in Citizenship in 8 th grade  No more than 2 ”F’s” on June Report Card  No more than 2 “U’s” on June Report Card 100 credits doesn’t guarantee promotion! Student’s behavior and citizenship counts!

11 Dates: June 6 – July 8, (July 4 –Holiday) 5 days a week, Monday-Friday – An informational flyer will go home, Share it with your parents/guardians – Summer school letters will be mailed in April – You must attend every day, travel after July 8th – Qualifications for Remedial, ELD, Math Advanced classes (1 st semester or 3rd Quarter grades, Standards Not Met- CAASPP test) – Period 1, Snack, Period 2 – Advanced Math classes are 2 period of the same class Summer School

12 7th ​ graders interested in joining CJSF for the first time, come to Room 5201, during lunch. Meetings will be held according to your last name. Tuesday, March 15 Students whose last name begin with A-L Applications will be available, so take your transcript.
