2 1 Background K-20 connects individual school district networks to one another, to Washington State’s educational community, and to the Internet K-20 is not simply an administrative point of presence located at a school district headquarters K-20 connectivity to K-12 is often misunderstood

3 2 K-20 Connections: Data and Video K-20 connections provide both data and video connectivity to institutions K-20 data connections facilitate the transmission of administrative and instructional traffic throughout K-12 schools IP-based video allows for video at multiple locations throughout a district, not just a single point of video presence
