2 General recommendations for accessible application procedures for people with disabilities The UK partners have accessed two best practice documents /guides, which show what procedures are in place to ensure accessible application and support for disabled people wishing to enter higher education in England and Wales. Document 1: Into Higher Education 2014 – Disability Rights UK Document 2 : Information, Adjustments for disabled students – Teaching Agency Both documents are widely available and read by young disabled people intending to enter Higher Education.

4 Information, Adjustments for disabled students – Teaching Agency General Adjustments General access arrangements Impairment specific adjustments Autism or Asperger syndrome Blind or visual impairments Deaf or hearing impairments Learning difficulties Medical conditions Mental health difficulties Physical impairments Specific learning difficulties eg; Dyslexia Speech, language and communication impairments Funding arrangements, receiving adjustments, Equality Act 2010
