3 © 2012 Chevron Expatriate Employee Responsibilities  Update your Emergency Contacts via the CEEL website at http://hr.chevron.com/ceel/ http://hr.chevron.com/ceel/  Employees should call the CEEL Line at 800-334-3963 and register their status after an emergency.  In the event of a building closure, you should report in to your work group as defined in your Business Continuity Plan.  Call the appropriate Chevron Emergency News Line at 888-281-4747 for important information on the status of office buildings.  Review your work group's Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and understand your roles and responsibilities before, during, and after an emergency to stay safe and to quickly, efficiently, and safely resume normal business.  Be prepared to work at a different location – take laptop, phone lists, Smart Badge, Secure ID, recharging cords and cables, paper files, etc. that you may need. You may use your group’s BCP Evacuation Checklist as a guide.BCP Evacuation Checklist 3

4 © 2012 Chevron Updating Emergency Contact Information  Providing more than one emergency contact is encouraged, including one in your primary and outside of your area.  For each contact, display their name and for Priority Relationship, indicate "1", "2", or "3" before describing their relationship to you. For example, 1 Spouse (your local area contact), 2 Friend (your 1st out of region contact), 3 Relative (your 2nd out of region contact).  Have all your contacts' information available before starting.  Make sure all area codes are current.  Delete any contacts that are no longer valid.  To display a record, select the record you wish to display and click on the Display tab.  The Emergency Contact intranet page cannot be set as a favorite; however the HR-U.S. Home Page at http://hr.chevron.com/northamerica/us/ can be added as an intranet favorite.http://hr.chevron.com/northamerica/us/ 4

7 © 2012 Chevron Expatriate Emergency Checklist ( Also included in assignment package on expatriate’s arrival in the US)  Keep track of passport at all times and make sure that it is valid for at least 6 months  Make several copies of passport/immunization papers; leave a copy with a relative/friend in your home country  Register with your home country embassy immediately upon arrival to the host country  Keep your emergency contact information up-to date with the HR Business Partner in your home and host country organization  Maintain a current inventory of personal belongings. Retain receipts and take photographs. Keep personal effects insurance current  Due to the circumstances, pets often cannot be taken with you during an evacuation. You are often limited to one suitcase. More specific information about your location will be provided at the time if an evacuation is contemplated  Maintain list of medications and prescription refills  Keep list of immunizations with passport  Employee Assistance Program (EAP) will normally be available for counseling after an evacuation  Provide a map of where you live in host country to your line manager 7

8 © 2012 Chevron Insurance Coverage  Ensure that you have the appropriate Insurance coverage in place before an emergency takes place.  Talk to an insurance agent to help you understand what type of insurance is necessary based on your personal situation.  Some types of insurance includes: Auto Insurance & Gap Insurance Personal Property – replacement cost vs. actual cost Homeowner’s Insurance (if you own a home) Flood Insurance – not covered under homeowner’s or renter’s insurance – around $350 per year  Make an inventory of your goods  Take pictures of cars, furniture, etc. 8
