4 Basic simple introduction about Han dynasty’s achievements -Great achievements which impacted to the world Prospering politically, socially, economically A silk road ; paper;public school;acupuncture; seismometer;iron technology, glazed pottery;wheelbarrow, embroidery for decorating garments; hot air balloon; irrigation. It also prospered an art, medicine, science and education

6 1-st achievement: Silk Road( Main role: i ncreasing of a trade and economic prosperity ; cultural exchange between several cultures; path of the ideas; major economic achievement Silk Road Main component of the trading : silk Traded with: products, animals, pottery, inventions, paper, celestial horses,cattle, furs, hides, ivory and jade. Chinese cuisine and belief systems like Daoism, Confucianism, Buddhism Took: Cucumber, walnut, sesame, figs, alfalfa and pomegranate, and new skills such as using grapes to make wine. 11 2-nd Achievement: Invention of a paper(105 CE) Papermaking or early paper making process: 1.hemp fibers soaked in water pounded with wooden mallet. 2. slurry poured over a horizontal mold 3. loosely-woven cloth stretched over a framework of bamboo allowed the water to drip out the bottom or evaporate, leaving behind a flat sheet of dry hemp-fiber paper.

13 Spreading of a paper and it’s form at Han times: Spread to Asia. 500s CE- Korean peninsula. 610 C- the Korean Buddhist monk Don-cho -Japan. Then Tibet and India. Thousand years - Eurasia..Wrapped with wooden roller. The other end of the paper was attached to a thin wooden dowel, with a piece of silk cord in the middle to tie the scroll shut.

16 4-th Achievement: Education Education was really important one -Public school started: Was for boys and was free Grand school: 30000 students! Job gave for people who was educated 10000 documents! mathematical problems, historical records, poetry, government records, a massive dictionary, the oldest surviving large- scale census of all history, which reports 57,671,400 people in 2 CE. History books and encyclopedias During the Han Dynasty, the Chinese people first made an organized attempt to record history for future posterity. Over 130,000 employees with 18 ranks Rich did not go to school

18 Summarize: Ancient China is a land of the invention 1) Firstly, I want to summarize that Han dynasty’s achievements lead to the development of the china. Through these advances and achievements in different spheres, we can understand that China’s economy and country really increased. 2) Secondly, I want to summarize that these achievements are very useful in our time. They had a great and big influence, so that is why we can say that they are now main supporters of our every day or base of ideas Han dynasty’s achievements are really valuable
