The 8 Best Reality Shows By: Olivia Martin

Introduction Stop living in a fantasy world. This could be for real. TV is real life. The best actors, that put on the best shows, aren’t actors at all. They are real people, in a real life situation. The best reality shows are dramatic, or funny, and can NEVER be boring! These are my top 8 reality shows, where computation rains strong. I rate my Intro. A four because it grabs the attention, states the criteria and is a good length. I think this intro is a 4 because it tell what it is going to be about.

Cupcake Wars Cup cake wars is a show that satisfies your sweet tooth. Contestants and their assistant bakers must make delicious, and pretty cupcakes before time runs out. The winner gets to have their cupcake display at a red carpet event.

Chopped I like cooking, and chopped puts some chefs to the test. I like seeing what the mystery ingredients will be. I have seen quail, duck, squid, goat cheese, compotes, and candies that they have to use. For the first round, Chefs have to make an appetizer, then the judges critique it, the worst dish is chopped (eliminated) The same happens for round 2, main Corse, and the final round dessert.

Food Network Star You see Rachel Ray on Food Network, but how do these new ones pop up? Is it luck of the draw? No, it’s Food Network Star. The chefs go through a series of challenges with eliminations each week. They get mentored by current food network stars, Bobby Flay, Giada, and Alton Brown. The last chef standing, gets their own show on food network. I like this show, because you can see the inner working of food network.

Cutthroat Kitchen Cutthroat kitchen is the last food network Reality show to make it into my top five. People will give up a lot of money to have other chefs ‘Suffer’ and to increase their chances of winning the grand prize. Chefs start with a case of a ton of ’buckaroos’ and their will be auctions for items at the beginning of each round. For example, a small kitchen set, where that is what a chef will have to use to cook their meal. If you win the auction you can give the item to another chef. Then you have a limited amount of time to make a dish to serve to the judges. I like this show because it is funny and exciting.

Candid Camera One of my favorite Reality shows is candid camera. Candid camera sees what people will do in hilarious situations. No one knows when something is going to happen. I will stay up watching the show, laughing off my head, watching the hilarious pranks. Smile, your on Candid Camera!

American Ninja Warrior American Ninja warrior is a great show, where you have to have real skill, to complete an obstacle course. I love this show because it is amazing how amazing people can be. These people have HUGE muscles, they truly are ninjas. Their upper body strength is amazing. Watch these ninjas fly!

Wipe Out! It’s the ULTIMATE obstacle course. Where the faster you can get through obstacles, the better. And the weirder you are, the more likely you will get on the show. The co hosts John, and John make up nicknames for each of the contestants that will crack you up.

Wipeout video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=obHBoaQKCsc&index=10&list=RDxoFEVpW8-Hw

The Quest Last, but not least, we have The Quest. This show takes real people into a fantasy world. The maker of the Amazing Race, and the Lord of the Rings made a show, where 12 contestants (the Paladins) were brought to save Everealm. They must fight, one by one they are ‘banished’ (eliminated) and soon, one will be crowned the one true hero. I like this show because, it is real people, but it seems like a fantasy, and how is that not AMAZING???

Conclusion Can’t you see, how wonderful reality shows are??? The contestants always make you laugh, and their expressions are spectacular! It takes no practice to be entertaining, you just have to be yourself! This is why I think Cupcake wars Chopped, Food Network Star, Cutthroat kitchen, Candid Camera American Ninja warrior, Wipeout and The Quest are the 8 best reality shows.
