2 HSF – the charitable arm of HSLDA HSF offers home school families in need assistance from various funds.

3 Kids Curriculum Fund

4 Widows/Widowers Fund

5 Children of Single Parents Fund

6 Special Needs Children Fund

7 Military Fund

8 Emergency Compassion Fund

9 HSF Ambassador Program A vehicle of HSF for volunteers to get “up close and personal” to identify to validate to meet the needs of home school families in their own communities

10 Ambassadors-in-Action Educate about HSF’s mission and the Ambassador Program Represent HSF and the Ambassador Program at events, small and large – Homeschool conferences & group meetings – Work place giving charity fairs Host once-a-year fundraiser Implement service projects Find other ambassadors

22 Two Types of Workplace Giving Events: CFC – Combined Federal Campaign (federal employees) NTN – Neighbor to Nation (state employees) $60,339 received from last cycle Events are ranked by tiers of giving: – Tier 1: greater than $1 million – Tier 2: between $500,000 and $1 million – Tier 3: less than $500,000
