5 Certifier/Superintendent  Verify there is an assigned certifier for your district  If certifier listed in TEASE is no longer with the district, superintendent will need to revoke their role and approve new certifier  Ensure certifier access to TEASE is in the certifier role  Develop timeline for data collection and determine which staff will enter data into TEASE, with consideration for staff availability during summer  Once data has been submitted and you are ready to certify, use Data Integrity Checklist to ensure valid and reliable data  Certify your data no later than August 10, 2016 Data Entry Agent(s)  Check your access to TEASE  Review webinar(s) for any indicator(s) you will be collecting and submitting data  Log into TEASE application and review data entry requirements: Does the application match the data collection tools?  Collect all appropriate data and contact SPP lead/certifier in your district with questions SPP To Dos:

9 Combination of SPP Applications User Training

10 TEASE Login The SPP applications are combined into one TEASE application. Click on this link to access all of the SPP applications. If you are a new SPP user or need to apply for access to the SPP applications, click on the Add/Modify Application Access button.

11 New User Access to SPP Applications Once on the Add/Modify Application Access screen, select the State Performance Plan Indicators option from the drop down list. After you have selected the application, click the Continue button.

12 Select User Role On this screen, select your role. The roles in this list are all of the possible roles for all of the applications. Keep in mind that the role you select must be approved by your Superintendent and the SPPI Program area. The Certifier role now includes the previously separate roles for District Certifier, SSA Certifier, and LEA Certifier The Data Entry Agent role now includes the previously separate roles for Single or Multiple Districts, and Single or Multiple Campuses Once you have selected your role, click the Continue button.

16 SPP Reports The Reports for each Indicator are now centrally located on the All SPP Applications page. If you have access to a report, it displays in the menu options under the Report menu. Only those indicator reports you have access to will be displayed in this menu. Once you select a report, the report parameter selection page will be displayed. Each report page has an Exit menu option to close that report and take you back to the All SPP Applications page.

17 No Access to Indicator When you click on the menu option for an indicator that you do not have access to, the Access Not Authorized message displays. If you need access to this indicator, you must request access through TEASE. Keep in mind that your Superintendent and the TEA SPPI Program Area must approve your request.

26 Make a Plan! Who will collect data for each indicator? When and how will it be submitted in TEASE? Be sure these questions are answered by the time the TEASE application opens for each indicator...

27 What If Our Data Does Not Meet Compliance? 1) Contact your ESC 2) Consider the Data Clarification Period TEA verifies that district: Has corrected individual instance(s) of noncompliance Is implementing regulatory requirements
