4 Decision making committees in CHEM School’s Academic Affairs Committee (KTAK) –Decides on curricula –Decides on admission criteria and quota School’s Degree Programme Committee (KN) –Prepares decision items to KTAK –Decides on quality assurance and development of B.Sc. and M.Sc. programmes –Approves the master’s thesis topics –Decides on grading of master’s theses School’s Doctoral Programme Committee (TKN) –As above but for D.Sc. Programme and theses

5 Development targets set in spring 2015 (internal programme review) Establish a stakeholder body for reviewing CHEM’s educational programmes Clarify the roles and duties of professors responsible for the majors Prepare a guideline document for good educational policy practices in CHEM –Even share of workload between periods –Teaching methods –Coordination between teachers –Etc.

6 Additional development targets set in fall 2015 (internal review by KN) Establish an overall feedback system for B.Sc. and M.Sc. programmes in CHEM Develop a meaningful tutoring system in CHEM in which both the students and teachers can engage Establish an elective course on practical training (M.Sc. programme)
