3 Thimpu Agenda 3. Significantly enhance engaging and sharing the benefits of conservation with COMMUNITIES… Action 2: Develop sustainable economies that support local communities surrounding areas conservation; Time Line:2013 – 2014; Funding: Secured - $7,5m, gap - $0m.

Develop a new partnership with BUSINESS and INDUSTRY… Specific Goal 1: sustainable funding mechanisms for tiger conservation Action 2: Collaboration with private sector in developing tiger sanctuary in GiamSiak Kecil Riau Timeline: start in 2013; Funding: Secured - $1m, gap - $5m Action 2: Collaboration with private sector in conflict and monitoring tigers in Tambling, Riau, Jambi, Sumatera Selatan Timeline: Start in 2013 Funding: Secured - $1m, gap - $5m

5 Thimpu Agenda 9. Develop national action plans … to MONITOR NTRP/GTRP implementation Specific Goal 1: Expand monitoring system to all tiger source sites. Action 1. Monitor and evaluate implementation of the DG PHKA primary performance indicator (IKU), to ensure increasing population of the Sumatran tiger in the 13 (national parks and PHKA regional office) selected area. Time Line: 2013 -2014; Funding: Secured - $0.9 m, gap - $0m. Action 2. Reduce human–wildlife conflict, especially in vulnerable conflict area in Aceh, Bengkulu, Jambi, and Lampung provinces through integrated program involving multi stakeholders, and evaluate implementation at year end. Time Line: 2013 Funding: Secured - $400.000, gap - $250.000. Action 3. Increase number of prosecutions of illegal activities related to tiger conservation. Time Line: 2013 -2014 Funding: Secured - $6 m, gap - $0m.
