2 Educational Service Personnel Measure

3 Educational Service Personnel Administrative Rule: 3301-35-01(B)(13) (13) "Educational service personnel" are specially qualified individuals who possess the knowledge, skills and expertise to support the educational, instructional, health, mental health and college and career readiness needs for all students. All educational service personnel shall hold appropriate qualifications, including applicable special teaching certificates, multi-age licensure or specific licensure in the areas to which they are assigned.

4 Referral to Committee The State Board of Education directs the Accountability Committee to develop a method to report educational service personnel on the report card for each area defined in rule 3301-35-01(B)(13). This method shall specify how the data will be reported annually by school, district, and state, including the total number of educational service personnel and the number per 1000 students or less. The Accountability Committee shall direct the Ohio Department of Education to report this data on the report card as soon as it can be implemented, but no later than the 2015-2016 report card.

10 Report Card Indicators The Performance Indicators show how many students have a minimum, or proficient, level of knowledge. There will be 31 indicators on the 2015- 2016 report card  Established  Gifted  AIR

11 Report Card Indicators Previous Report Card – 75% (85% for 11 th grade indicator) 2013 – 2014 – 80% (85% for 11 th grade indicator 2014 – 2015 – Targets for new tests aligned to statewide passing percentage 2012 – 2013 – 75% (85% for 11 th grade indicator)

12 Report Card Indicators House Bill 64: The state board shall adopt rules, under Chapter 119. of the Revised Code, to establish different proficiency percentages to meet each indicator that is based on a state assessment, prescribed under section 3301.0710 or 3301.0712 of the Revised Code, for the 2014-2015 school year and thereafter by the following dates: (A) Not later than December 31, 2015, for the 2014-2015 school year; (B) Not later than July 1, 2016, for the 2015-2016 school year; (C) Not later than July 1, 2017, for the 2016-2017 school year, and for each school year thereafter.
