7 Fair for Life (FFL) Programme: History  Developed by Bio-Foundation and IMO in 2006 as complementary FairTrade certification system upon client request  Based on key baseline standards: ILO conventions, FLO Fairtrade Standards, SA8000 and IFOAM Social Criteria.  Fair for Life: Generic programme – wide range of product  It can be applied to All types of FairTrade oriented operations world-wide  In 2008 accepted by Whole Foods Market in the Whole Trade Guarantee Progam as one of only three certifiers.  Member of the Domestic Fair Trade Association

12  IMO is expert in the field of smallholder group certification; presently more than 350 smallholder farmers groups worldwide.  Groups vary in size from 20 to 25,000 farmers & produce a great variety of crops.  Certification as a group with their own Internal Control System (ICS) and a simplified external inspection procedure.  IMO also offers ICS and quality awareness trainings for groups or internal group staff.
