2. History & Background 1982- Established as a medical supplies division of GAMA Services Ltd., one of the leading Healthcare Maintenance Organization (HMO) in Saudi Arabia operating prestigious hospitals and healthcare facilities all over the Kingdom. 1983- Established as a separate company with the vision of becoming one of the top medical and hospital supplies distributor in the Kingdom. 1988- Started local manufacturing of hemodialysis solutions and diagnostic reagents at Arabian Diagnostic Reagent Factory in Riyadh Second Industrial City. 1993- Established the Pharmaceutical Division. 1994- Spun off ADRF into ADAMCO as separate company to give more concentration to its exclusive distributorship operations. 1996- 2000 – AMHSCO starts a rapid growth in sales and revenues from SR30M to over SR100M. 2000- AMHSCO established separate divisions for Medical and Laboratory equipments and supplies.
