15 Tourism in Chamonix Popular for over 250 years – particularly with outdoor enthusiasts. Was the site of the first winter Olympics in 1924. Oldest ski resort in Europe. Population 10,000 – in summer 100,000 tourists a day and 60,000 a day in winter. Town geared to tourists – hotels, railway, tramway and cable cars. Traditional tourism dominant – move towards responsible tourism.

You will need to use PERSUASIVE language.
