4 …NAME OF MALAYSIA  According to the British resource, the name “Malaya” come from “Malay”; means “orang Melayu”.  The country of “Malay” is “Malaya”.  When Malaya achieved their independence at 31 st August 1957, the name of Malaya had been changed to “Federation of Malaya”.  When Sabah, Sarawak and Singapore joined Malaysia in 1963, the name of Federation of Malaya changed to “Malaysia”.
