1 Cafeteria Procedures

2 Lunch Lines Four lines of lunch: – Have your lunch number ready to punch into the system or to give the lunch ladies. – This is the same number you had in 5 th grade. It’s ok if you forgot but try hard to remember

3 Line # 1: Line #1 far left facing the cafeteria – Ala Carte line only-That means that if you are on free and reduced lunch you will not get in Line #1 unless you have cash and want what is offered in Line 1.

4 Lines #2,3,4 Lines 2,3,4- Regular lunches and meals for free and reduced lunch. Pizza will only be offered on Fridays and only in Lines 2,3,4

5 Extras You can still buy cookies, chips, ice cream…. In any of the lines. Understand that you pay extra. They are not part of the free and reduced meal plan. There will be a white board on both sides outside right before you enter the cafeteria listing what is offered for ala carte, Line #1 and what is offered in lines 2,3,4 LOOK SO YOU KNOW WHAT LINE TO GET INTO

6 Example of white board Line 1 Ala Carte Chicken strips and French fries, fruit, and milk Lines 2,3,4 Hamburgers, turkey burgers, fruit, and milk Salads with a fruit and milk Subs with a fruit and mild Remember all lines 1-4 will also offer the extras (such as: cookies and chips)

7 Find your friends. Remember to use the restroom before you leave the cafeteria. No yelling in the cafeteria Enjoy your lunch. This is social time, not class. Use it wisely!
